Who are the coaches on Tech Interview Coach?
The coaches on Tech Interview Coach are experienced professionals with expertise in various tech-related fields. They have a track record of success in the hiring process and are passionate about helping others succeed.
What is the process for scheduling a session?
All sessions are booked via the Calendly platform. Once you have purchased your credits, we’ll provide you with the Calendly link for your coach.
What’s your cancellation, “no show” and rescheduling policy?
If you need to cancel a session, please inform the coach at least 24 hours before. Otherwise, the coach might consume half a credit (i.e., the next session will be 30 minutes rather than 60 minutes).
Please process the cancellation through the links provided by Calendly, so we can be sure we can appropriately track your remaining credits.
How long are the sessions?
Sessions last no less than 60 minutes, oftentimes a bit more. Coaches usually spend the first ~45mins giving a mock interview to the coachee and ~15mins on feedback.
What should I expect from a coaching session?
Coaching sessions are tailored to your needs. The most common format is the “mock interview”, where the coach will quiz you and provide you feedback on your answers.
How many classes do I need?
Three to five sessions is the norm for an in-depth preparation and provides the best value. For a final polish ahead of an upcoming interview, one or two sessions are usually sufficient.
Do you help with coding or whiteboarding interviews?
Yes, we have Senior Software Engineers and Engineering Managers ready to help.
Can I work with multiple coaches?
Yes, though we recommend Software Engneers do most of their sessions with one coach.
